Training that gives you more than commands
Good training is not simply about teaching a dog to sit, stay or heel.
It is about developing clear communication between you and your dog, so that the skills you learn together work when you actually need them - on walks, around distractions and in everyday life.
At Tipulo Canine, training is deliberately personal.
Our boutique group sessions are limited to a maximum of five dogs, while our 1-to-1 sessions allow us to focus entirely on the needs of you and your dog.
Puppy Training - For Puppies up to 6 months of age
Give your puppy the foundations for a lifetime of good habits.
The first months with your puppy are exciting - and they are an important opportunity to establish the behaviours you will want for years to come.
Our Foundation Puppy Training focuses on practical life skills including:
• Foundation obedience
• loose-lead walking
• Reliable recall
• Calm, controlled socialisation

• Impulse control
• Polite greetings
• Retrieve
Rather than crowded classes - we deliberately limit our groups to a maximum of five puppies.
This allows puppies to learn to focus around real-world distractions while receiving plenty of individual attention and guidance in a controlled environment.

We also offer a professional training and owner coaching service, where Michael takes a more hands on role in training your puppy while coaching you to maintain the progress at home and develop your skills.
Dog Obedience Training - For Dogs 6 months and older
Build better manners, better communication and greater reliability.
Whether you are starting from scratch, brushing up on exisiting skills or working towards more advanced obedience, our adult training programmes are structured around practical results.
Training can include:
- Loose-lead walking
- Reliable recall
- Focus around distractions
- Impulse control
- Everyday obedience

- Competition obedience
- National Pet Code training
Training takes place outdoors at Haresfoot Park, where dogs learn to work around genuine real-world distractions, including other dogs, people, horses and local wildlife.
Our Dog Obedience syllabus is carefully structured to develop greater understanding, consistency and control, progressing from established foundations towards relaible real-world obedience.
